Strategic planning to set the direction for land use, transport networks and infrastructure to meet the community’s needs and support future growth of the Northern Territory.

Delivering the NT’s infrastructure program and providing services as the NT’s central construction agency.

Managing land administered by the department on behalf of the Northern Territory of Australia and the Crown and holding land-related information and data, including developing and maintaining spatial information to support long term planning.

Regulatory and customer services to ensure safe, efficient and sustainable land and building development and planning and transport systems.
